Philip raises an interesting point with the mention of Brahe. I know that Gerardus Bouw espouses Tycho Brahe and his model of the heavens exclusively. I personally never got swung over to this Tycho design because it seems so disingenuous to say that the earth is all important but all the rest of the visible planets orbit the sun and not the earth, like in the Tycho system. Ptolemy's system seems more consistent with what I now believe. All goes round the earth. Period. I don't know, but if I were a betting man, I'd lay money that Dr. Jones concurs with this. Don't know. I'd like to know if there is any alternative to the two systems I haven't heard about. In geostasis, Gary GaryLShelton@xxxxxxxxxxx
