[geocentrism] Tycho Brahe vs. Ptolemy

Philip raises an interesting point with the mention of Brahe.  I know that 
Gerardus Bouw espouses Tycho Brahe and his model of the heavens exclusively.  I 
personally never got swung over to this Tycho design because it seems so 
disingenuous to say that the earth is all important but all the rest of the 
visible planets orbit the sun and not the earth, like in the Tycho system.  
Ptolemy's system seems more consistent with what I now believe.  All goes round 
the earth.  Period.  I don't know, but if I were a betting man, I'd lay money 
that Dr. Jones concurs with this.  Don't know.  I'd like to know if there is 
any alternative to the two systems I haven't heard about.
