You're right.

This also explains why they keep beating us at cricket - they always think that they have to hit the ball harder to compensate for their stronger gravity down there.

It's certainly most ungentlemanly conduct of them, seeing as how we invented the game (and should therefore win by default).

Gravity is much stronger in the “Down Under” to keep the Aussies from falling off the Earth as they walk around upside-down.
