Slight error needed correction. 

Experimental evidence will show that the field created by the moving charge is 
not mechanically attached to the charge...  

It is and can be mechanically connected to the medium ie copper conductor. 
which does not move..  Even the particle "electron" is mechanically involved, 
but the field is not dragged along with it in its motion..

Perhaps it could be analogous to gravity where the space station  is 
mechanically connected to the earth, but its gravitational force does not 
create any rotational force on the earth as it moves around the world. or visa 
versa. GC or HC speed.
