Dear Philip, Why do you have to keep on making excuses for evolution? I've already stated why evolution is a non-starter. Why can't you just accept the Bible. I suppose any one who espouses Roman Catholicism does not necessarily agree that the Bible is the final Word. Jack. Jack I will answer from the bottom up. I do accept that the Bible is the Word of God and as such it is final. I just am not so arrogant as to believe that God the Holy Spirit has given me any special authority to interpret it, let alone choose which particular copy of the 117+ varieties to read. Just choosing between the original King James print and todays latest edition would be difficult enough, though the world being as it is today, I would choose the former. To forstay any denominational battle here, I will add that I would not accept any bible authorised by todays modernist Roman Catholic Hierarchy either. Now the first question. Read me again. I stated quite clearly that I did not accept evolution as a fact, that I know the world was created in six days. Here is my original statement. "If there was a PERFECT PRINCIPLE OF EVOLUTION (and I do not believe there is > one around yet) then it would not be a denial of God having any input into > the process. I am saying that He merely bypassed quite a lot of time in not allowing nature under His direction to acomplish the job. > > Just refer back to my example of the pebble in the week old river of Eden. > Its form was based upon the natural order of evolution of a pebble .... Philip.
