Hi, This Biblical month seems to "fit" well. Not all months fit this well (although the sunrise to sunrise days reduce variation). Below are several points I would like to make. 1) I would argue that this month is from sunrise on June 7 (the day following the astronomical new moon) to sunrise on July 7 (the day following the next astronomical new moon). I will note here that with sunrise to sunrise days it is impossible to have the crescent moon observed on the same "day" as conjunction, as can occur with sunset to sunset days. 2) Critical observation periods are June 4 at dawn when the last crescent would be visible, indicating a 30 day month and June 7 when the first crescent would be visible after sunset, indicating that the next day is a work day. To be consistent with this understanding, however, a month would begin, whether or not the crescent was actually visible. 3) The first sabbath of the month falls on first quarter (June 14) or the 8th day of the month, and is visible with the moon directly overhead at sunset. 4) The second sabbath falls on the full moon (June 21) or the 15th day of the month, and is visible with the moon rising as the sun sets. 5) The third sabbath falls on the last quarter (June 28) or the 22nd day of the month, and is visible with the moon directly overhead as the sun rises. 6) The last crescent would be visible on July 4 or the 28th day of the month indicating that this is a thirty day month (consecutive 30 day months). 7) July 5 or the 29th day is the last sabbath of the month and July 6 or the 30th day is attached to the upcoming new moon on June 7 or the first day of the new month. 8) In this scenario the moon rises progressively later each day of the month. The moon sets progressively later after sunrise beginning on June 22 or the 16th day of the month Carl
