I actually found a recipe that uses a alder or cedar plank, (just don't ask
me to find it), to grill salmon steaks on, you have to soak the plank and
the steak goes on top of it on the grill, it's supposed to smoke and grill
the steak simultaneously. Check it out at justsmokedsalmon.com/planks.htm

Actually, if you are looking for a bit more tender meal, then you take
theoctopus and put it on a slab of pine and beat the holy molly out of it.
Then you throw the octopus away and eat the board. Bernie.

Troutboy says thanks to everyone. Even though you can't tell from the
photos,I think he's a little too self-conscious to do a podcast. He was
hamming it up Friday, but is starting to not like his photo taken. Not sure
