Remember that the list archives all the messages. You can find and read
these archived messages at.

You can search the archives looking for keywords or just read them in order
by date. That is very handy if you want to look up old topics. It is also a
security problem.
Even tho this email list is closed, the archives are open to the public.
Web indexing search bots have access to the archives and indexes them tor
the web. So, when you google for topics we have discussed on the list, they
will show up. That is pretty neat!! Unless you are discussing personal
stuff. That stuff will be available to anyone in the world that happens to
search for it.
We do have the ability to lock the archives. That will keep the web search
bots and anyone without a password out of the archives.
