- I've come up with a solution to deal with thjese server problems. Here is the response I got back. I do not ever do the forums and cannot find where they started a topic on my suggestions. Can someone figure out where this discusion is for me and then others can chime in. I think this would do a lot to reduce congestion on the site. -----Original Message----- From: General Inquiries [mailto:contact@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, February 25, 2004 12:30 PM To: Jim Bensman Subject: Re: [#83054] Premium Membership Inquiry Hi Jim Thanks for your input! Thanks for your email. I like your idea but I want to make sure it doesn't get overlooked. For this reason we have created a forum for feedback. The ongoing discussion is at Geocaching.com discussion forums. If you wish to submit observations and such, please do it there. http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showforum=6 Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. I came up with something that I think could help with this problem: Modifying a program like GSAK to allow you to enter your log into the program and then have the program upload the logs to geocaching.com. As you will see in their message to me, they say this is not allowed. If this is true, could you please explain why and will you reconsider the policy? Would not this have the potential to drastically reduce congestion on the site? It also would be a lot easier. Perhaps this could just be offered to premium members. Thank you for your consideration of this matter. -----Original Message----- From: Clyde England [mailto:cwe@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, February 18, 2004 3:34 PM To: Jim Bensman Subject: Re: GSAK Hi Jim, >How about making the program give you the ability to write your log >entry in the program and then have the program uplead the logs to geocaching.com? >That would sure be easier.
