[GeoSTL] Some thoughts on the SLAGA Party

'Preliminary' party survey results
indicate that May 18th is the leading
preferred date. Would the Barramus
mansion be ready in time if that's
the date chosen? If it rains, could we
still have the party in your garage?
(let me know if you need help cleaning
it out). If everyone who answered the
survey showed up, we'd have a head
count of 26.

Who is the decision committee?
Are you ready to select a date and
publish the information sometime
next Wed (May 15)? Who wants to
create and publish the maps to
'no-man's-land'? Where should we
position the maps and results on the
www.geostl.com web page?

Noone has talked about hiding the
party cache - I think we should
plant it before the party and give
people the opportunity to find it
beforehand. I know that RGS and
Barramus have hiked the LaBarque
Hills area and there isn't a cache
there yet. Maybe a few of us who
haven't been out there should go on
a scouting outing?!

Whenever the party is, I can bring
some ice chests with ice to help keep things
cold. We have about 6 folding chairs
we can bring. If anyone has card tables
or such for placing food or eating off
of, that would be helpful.

Those who marked the survey
as 'whatever we need' might want to
consider napkins, plates and utensils,
since those items haven't been spoken
for. We'll see in a few days what we
still need.
