I just posted a note on a page, worked fine.
 But you might try writing your log in another program, then copy  & paste it 
to the page, that way, if it screws up again, you don't have to  re-write 
your log. I do it that way especially on Sat. & Sun. night, when  the site 
tends 
to get overloaded.
