Very interesting. The sad thing is because of the Soviet government at the
time, we will never know how many people died directly and/or indirectly.

This is definitely off topic and isn't meant to be political or start
anything. It's a "photo" story of a lady (Elena) riding her motorcycle thru
the wasteland of the Chernobyl disaster and what remains of the towns today.
Most of us, I'm sure, have completely forgotten about it but these
photographs really display how horrible it must have been. There are no
disturbing pictures or anything like that; just a vast wasteland that at one
time were thriving towns.
