- Sorry Amanda but you couldn't get that lucky. They would send back a new unit o fhte same model you already have, in your case the Rino 110. $79 is still not a bad price for a new Rino though. So, does that mean that if I send them the $79 and the Rino, they might send me a 60cs back? ;) Amanda On Mar 9, 2005, at 17:27, Eric & Dayna East wrote: > - > The last I knew they were charging over $100 for repairs. > > Eric > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Sara Gomer" > To: > Sent: Wednesday, March 09, 2005 8:03 AM > Subject: [GeoStL] Re: Not completely off topic... > > >> - >> Have you checked with Garmin to see what they charge to send them in. >> I've heard reports of people paying garmin $65 for a service fee and >> getting a whole new unit back instead of their old beat up one. >> Eric & Dayna East wrote:- >> My vista is about on it's last legs, the screen sometimes fades in >> and out >> or it gets trace lines through it. :-( >> I'd like to get a new one, the new 60cs, but I can't afford it at this >> time. >> HOWEVER, if someone has one they'd part with I have a working Coca >> Cola >> vending machine with a few extra parts that I would trade for it!
