Hi

Since there are 60 minutes in a degree, to convert minutes to decimal
degrees, divide the minutes value by 60 and add it to the degrees.

An example:
    24 degrees 15 minutes would  be  24 plus  15/60  equals  24.250 degrees.

Another example:
    24 degrees 15.525 minutes would be  24 plus  15.525/60 equals  24.25875
degrees.
