FYI

If your mobile phone service charges for business directory assistance, check
out the new FREE business directory assistance from Google.

This works from mobile and land lines. But is especially great with mobile
phones since it uses voice recognition.

Business search only - no residences.

Free - except for your normal phone time charges.

  Directions for use:

Enter the number in your cell phone memory.

  1-800-GOOG-411 (easy to remember)
  or
  1-800-466-4411

  Call the number.
Say the city and state that you are seeking. For example "St Louis MO"
Alternately, you can key in a zip code.
Say what you are looking for. For example "hotels"
It will read back eight choices for you to choose.
Say the number that you want.
It will connect you automatically to that business.

Alternately if you request "details" it will give you the name, address and
phone number.

If you are calling from your mobile phone, say "text message" and it will
text you back the details. Say "map it" and it will send a map to your phone.
(free except your normal text charges)

Try it. I thought it was very cool.
