- Matt works at a factory making brakes. Car parts seem to really be heading to Mexico. Bad thing here is that not only is his factory of 300 + employees shutting down, also another factory near Rolla of over 300 employees is shutting down for the same reason in Feb. Matt's factory is supposed to be closed by the end of March, possibly before. So just in this area there will be over 600 people without jobs. That is a lot of people looking for jobs needless to say and there isn't much around here. We've been talking it over and will probably decide to take the offer of free schooling for Matt. May make it hard on us, but one doesn't get the chance for free education everyday. Not sure what field of trade school yet though. They offer that and a severance. So he will be there until they give him his walking papers. We do hope everything will turn out and he will be able to find another job. I know we are in a much better situation than many, so we thank God for that. No huge loans here. That would make it worse. Thanks for your support, Jen ----- Original Message ----- From: "Susan R.
