The Cahokia Mounds Museum Society has the opportunity to win $50,000 to buy
unprotected portions of this prehistoric city, INCLUDING SACRED MOUNDS. A
portion of this land is currently for sale and under the threat of being
sold for development. This land contains archaeological evidence of the
ancient culture that once lived here, and if not preserved, will result in
the loss of valuable history and important cultural heritage. Please vote
once a day each day between now and the end of April & share the info with
others!
