Reminder
Nov 4-5, 2011 Rend Lake GC358YW (Only 1.5 hours from St Louis)
Camping and caching at Rend Lake - Pickup MOGA caches you have not done.
(Remember there is a lodge a couple minutes away)
N38 04.973 W88 55.805 The cood is site 38 of Gun Creek Campground (My camp
site). I pick a site sheltered from the wind away from the lake.
The forecast is sunny 63 deg high and 46 deg low. (Arr - LOL)
MOG - Stands for "Mostly Only Geocaching". This event with mainly to get out
and find some caches around the lake that were placed at MOGA.
Schedule:
Friday Night after dark - Campfire at Rocfish campsite #38.
Saturday 8am ish - Group cache meet at site #38
Saturday 6pm - Potluck Dinner & camp fire at Site #38
Sunday - Open to cache
Location changes will be posted at site #38 Gun Creek Campground.
Gun Creek Campground $16 per day - Elect - Showers - Online reservation. I
call and they said there would be showers open that weekend. The campground
looks very nice.
