- I would like to have joined you all for the group hunt Sunday, but I have prior commitments. But, I unexpectedly had some free time this afternoon and my son was in town, so he and I went out to do the LaBarque series. We really enjoyed the walk. No need for CITO here. The area is pristine. I saw no sign of civilization other than area signs and a barb wire fence around the perimeter. My hats off to Dana and Barry for a job well done. How did you ever find this place? We found Hole In Rock and Slabrock, but could not find Rockytop even after looking for about 30 minutes. Even having spent the extra time at Rockytop, we were back at out car in about two hours and fifteen minutes. We would have looked longer for Rockytop, but the shadows were getting long. Do like the cache page suggests and bring plenty of water and a snack. You'll be glad you did. And don't forget your cameras. The whole place is a Kodak moment. Are any plans being made to do the SS-Apprentice on the 13th? I might be available that day. I'll keep watching this sight. Sniper1 **************************************** Our WebPage!
