Bernie,

You failed to mention what town. Are we talking about St. Charles?

An exciting competition event held in Historic Downtown District. Hot
beverages available from local restaurants along with music and patio
fireplaces. Starting with a huge block of ice the artists feverishly create
their very own crystalline figurine. Working in sub-freezing temperatures
visitors watch the artists live creations using chain saw, power grinders,
sanders, cold chisels, hand saws and irons. Many of the ice sculptures are
more than three feet tall and 200 pounds.

This is a neat event and well worth seeing. Bernie.
