Yep, I've seen it and it's very slick.
Now this opens a new door for geocaching. Locate the cache (traditional anyway)
without a GPS, map, or compass; just the satellite picture. :-)

I may have been in the dark, but if you have not looked at the Google map
link on the cache pages you may want to check it out. You can smoothly pan and
zoom around the map and then change to Satellite and even with the street name
overlay.
