Do I hear a volunteer?
I've often thought about it myself. There was a lot of
"history" before I found Geocaching and joined SLAGA. There
are awful lot of pictures with faces of people I don't
recognize and and quite a number of old logs with names of
people I haven't met.
The "SLAGA History" would need to come from the SLAGA "old
timers". Is there anyone willing to coordinate this effort?
Someone who likes to "scrapbook" or someone who likes to do
"history" type stuff? I think this is a worthy effort and I
believe that the organization will support it but it takes
someone with that type of talent, desire, drive and time.
Again, to get this going, we need someone with the
willingness to take it on. I'll make the offer again in the
February email blast but I'd love to get someone willing to
take this on project.

I totally agree.Someone should be keeping the history of
SLAGA, the St. Louis Caches, Past Officers, Etc...

It would be nice to have a place on the SLAGA website to
document and share
some of the history. There could be stuff like first
caches, oldest caches,
first event, etc. There could be info on historic
numbers like how many caches and that kind of stuff.
