Marilyn Wills went back to work Monday.
Thirteen days after she left the Pentagon on a stretcher when terrorists
crashed a hijacked jetliner into the building near her office, many things in
Wills's life are back to normal. Her parents -- who had driven to Washington
with a sign in the back window saying, "Pray for our daughter Marilyn, a
Pentagon crash victim" -- had returned to Louisiana.

age of 22, by enrolling in the ROTC program at Grambling University. She then
moved several places throughout the globe, and finally settled in Washington,
D.C. Wills began working at the Pentagon as a Major….
Marilyn Dangerfield Wills was born in Monroe, Louisiana, along with her two
sisters, Sandra and Connie Dangerfield, and brother Joseph Everfield who had a
different father. Wills and her siblings were raised on the concept of
appreciating what God has put before them, and not to stress on what they did
not have.
After graduating Wossman High, Wills gained her A.S in Science and Law
Enforcement at Southern University, B.S of Criminology Justice Psychology at
Grambling Sate University, M.S in Counseling Science and Psychology at Bowie
State University. This was not the end for Wills; she later received an
honorary Doctorate in Masters of Science at the Industrial College of the Armed
Forces, which is now called the Eisenhower School in Washington D.C. She also
earned her Ph.D. in Humane Letters at Grambling State University.
Marilyn Wills has become a hero to many because of her brave soul during her
time in the Army, but has also accomplished being a wonderful mother and wife.
Marilyn is married Lt. Col (Ret) Kirk Wills and for 29 years they have been
side by side every step of the way. They also have two daughters by the names
of Portia and Percilla Wills.
“I will always, cherish my accomplishments but firstly God, because he is the
reason all this was possible,” says Marilyn Wills.
