As most of you are fully aware..... Grambling will be Playing LA Tech in
Football on September 7, 2019. We, the LA Tech Alumni Nupes are interested in
knowing if WE (both Gamma Psi and us - Theta Rho/Pi Delta) bruhs of old, could
gather interest in a joint tailgate?
In other words, we could gather interest amongst EVERYONE, provide a dollar
figure for participation, provide T shirts to ALL that partake financially by a
reasonable, mutually agreed upon deadline and STREAMLINE EVERYTHING via asking
who amongst us will be point persons (we ONLY need a total of 6 chefs in the
kitchen). So, three per chapter where we MUST also include 2 undergrad brothers
from Gamma Psi UNLESS PI DELTA is back active then, we will add 2 more?
Brother Broderick Miller, I'm going to select you as ONE OF the point people to
REPRESENT Gamma Psi, just because..... and then you "should" select 1 more alum
of old, and 2 undergrad Brothers - to keep things simple and keep it moving. I
can not imagine why we wouldn't or couldn't MAKE THIS HAPPEN! BUT, I'm open to
constructive criticism and this is just an initial solicitation to gather
interest if there is any.
I also strongly believe that we should ADD a minimum of $5 to generate money
towards our good Brother Gallot and his endeavours. We would also like to add
another $5 for our own endeavours as we attempt to collect moneys and pay off
fines owed AND assist us in getting Pi Delta chapter off to a good start as we
are expecting the chapter to be back "eventually."
As the organizer of the last 7 or 8 Tech HomeKoming tailgates where I collected
all the money, bought all the food, and cooked along with Brothers Kenneth
Dewayne Jones and Creighton Larkin and Terry Spearman, designed and sold the t
shirts, I have a good idea of minimum costs as we attempt to make a profit. We
just need YOUR agreement and then we can begin soliciting Brothers to see who
is interested. If there's no interest, no worries. We can and will put this
entire potential revenue producer to rest and I will NOT be there IF YOU AREN'T
INTERESTED.
We want to fraternize!! That is the some reason and obviously, if we can make a
few dollars, that would be a plus. Otherwise, I will see you Brothers at
Southwestern Province meeting, IF PI DELTA is coming back or The Bayou Klassic
if not in Philly for the Clave.
ONE KAPPA!!! Let that marinate and get back with me. Let's Get It! Or not, just

I would like to share a response from a donor after the homecoming weekend:“The
“Word” says we have not because we ask not. Thank you for giving me the
opportunity to be a part of your legacy of giving.”As we move forward after a
tremendous weekend, remember Gamma Psi Alumni gave over $100K within 2 years.
Think about that accomplishment!!We not only gave back, we inspired other GSU
organizations to participate which netted Grambling State University over
$128,000.00 from all “Greeks”. Nupes, we indeed set the “Bar”. Fraternities
