I ask this because I am attempting to avoid the cost of renewing my pro license and would also like to be able to use the product on multiple platforms without paying so much ($500 each) per platform since I have only one mac and several windows PCs, so my work flow sometimes prefers working on a Windows boxes. I've only ever used container controls from the pro license so I want to migrate to personal if FTC supports it, as my main project that I am about to (re)start would be built around FTC provided it works as advertised.
From what you described above, remote debugging and cross compiling is what you want which are professional features. With remote debugging you can run and test on a Windows system and with cross compiling there is no need to have more than one license. Personally, my experience has been that developing software for the Windows platform is much faster when you develop it on the Mac. Using the remote debugger to test it and this is how I developed the FTC itself. So you might want to reconsider your work flow to take advantage of the remote debugging and cross compiling. If you have already bought a professional license in the past, renewing your license should only be $250 and you would only need one license. Contact RB sales to work it out with them.
