It's called eating your own dog food. Your bugs are my bugs.

The reason I can fix your bugs so fast is that a lot of
forethought has been put into the design and documentation aspects
of the code. It took a lot of up front effort, but now it is
really paying off in ease of maintenance and implementing new
features. I have had others point out fixes to the code and they
were actually able to present the fix in a correct context and
explaining to ME what was going on. To me that says a lot when my
code is "other people's code" and they can successfully sift
through it especially given the fact it is about 30,000 NCSL of
very complex code.

Release 1.8.3 seems very stable to me.
