Hola Friends,
I will not be able to make it to tonight's meerting due to conflicting
commitments. On another note, the Comedor Escoloar Study is plowing along and
the data gathering phase should be complete or very close to it. The team has
not come across any hurdles yet, except for a couple of days schools were
closed that threw off the schedule slightly. I will forward status information
as I get it. Looking forward to the film festival. George

Hola Grupo,
We hope all are well and that you had a good end of summer. We have been a
bit busy with certain things in the past month, including working with the
IRS on chapter finalization, Cow Harbor Day activities, and the planning for
the Friend's film festival which should be in November. Some folks have been
working quite hard at these things. Thanks to all who've been doing so.
Our next general meeting will be this Thursday evening, Oct. 6th, at 7:30
p.m. in Room H-109 at Northport HS. We hope all can make it. There's lots to
do and lots to plan. Topics include:
follow up to ideas put forth by Carol W. and others at the August meeting on
the organization and future of Friends,
recent Nica activities/Mike's updates,
process for adding additional chapters in the future,
fund raising and
the fall film festival, etc.
If you have any specific topics you wish to have discussed, please email us
so we can include them on the agenda.
Please come. We hope to see you there.
