Yesterday, the injunction was lifted on IR 1105 and it now will be up for
vote again on Tuesday.  Please click on the blog site link below---read and
make a phone call as requested.  It will take only minutes.  So much is at
stake.  If you are able to attend a prayer vigil, that would be good too.

Dear Care Network Members,

Please be advised that there is a Suffolk County Department of Health Public
Health Hearing scheduled for May 12, 2008 from 3pm to 5pm. 

 

The purpose of the hearing is to obtain input from county residents as to
the quality of the health care delivery system and how it services their
needs. Residents who are unable to attend the hearing and wish to submit
testimony are encouraged to send written testimony to the Administration
Office at Department of Health Services, 225 Rabro Drive East, Hauppauge, NY

SUFFOLK COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES SCHEDULES A PUBLIC HEALTH
HEARING 


 


Dr. Humayun J. Chaudhry, D.O., M.S., Commissioner of the Suffolk County
Department of Health Services, announced today that a Public Health Hearing
has been scheduled for Monday, May 12, 2008 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the
Department of Health Services, 225 Rabro Drive East, Hauppauge, NY 11788.

County law directs the Department of Health Services to hold two public
health hearings each year. The purpose of these hearings is to obtain input
from county residents as to the quality of the health care delivery system
and how it services their needs. Residents who are unable to attend the
hearing and wish to submit testimony are encouraged to send written
testimony to our Administration Offices (address above), attention: Wendy
Ladd. Written testimony will be accepted until June 2, 2008.
