We had 15 members and 2 special guests Nataly and Steve,

The theme of the meeting was CONCISE the whole meeting took place in the
first hour and at the second hour we had a storytelling work shop run by
Dirk

Timer Joker – Pattie Apple

Ha counter – Jonathan Kolber

Grammarian -  Jeff Stoll with 3 WOD – *Succinct   - Pithy – Terse*

Inspiration – Isaac Ramirez - we all have decision as simple as YES or NO

Speaker Alan Wong “A Good Life “speech  18 – 22 minutes, Alan delivered a
great speech, here are the highlights.

What constitute a good life? Money and Fame, NO! is about good
relationships friends and family

He had 3 main points in his speech - community, friends and family

Community

·         COMOM – spoke how he is been helping donating his time for 2
days at comom – (https://comom.org/ ;)

·         One time a patient Tito, gave him as a big fish as a present
that he catch from Wyoming

·         Another time he got shiny Balloons from Susan also someone in a
Dr. Seuss custom. ‘Alan claims that he is ok with no attention.

·         Thorn – waited for 24 hours and he let everyone knows  “*everybody
he is a rock star* ”

Friends

·         Spoke about Robin – Bowling, Chess, Toastmaster

·         How Robin told him “move with your Gut” on a chess tournament

·         The story of the stiches on a chicken’s butt  -(very funny) and
the new meening of stop drawing your butt

·         Very honored that he got the call

Family

·         3 children and wife

·         First daughter had a calendar for special events (first word ,
first doctor appointment ) she always waited at the window for him, the 2
other NO calendar and they never waited at the window for him

·         Wife a different story – he loves his wife ‘ my wife is the
boss of me”

·         No perfect story  - is the story well deliver

·         Attached documents supporting Dirks work shop

·         Also we did this at the second floor Lobby

Announcements

·         Jonathan Dues are Due 69.00 October 1st deadline

·         Dirk’s part 2 of story telling September 19

·         Meeting on October 3rd is at Mother Tucker Brewery   (I heard
our Club Presidente is buying the  first round )

The meeting was outside of the Box for sure and let us see how things are
possible Kathleen did a great Job keeping everything flowing and on time,
