Steven's girlfriend reminded him, her graduation from nursing school is this Thursday and not Friday. Oh Oh! In a talk that would make all of us Toastmaster proud, her persuasive "talk" and "getting to the point" speech has Steven not able to fulfill his role this week. Good decision on his part. To insure he will continue to have dates in the future, Dad is stepping in to cover for Jr. Sometimes lessons learned at Toastmasters occurs away from the meetings. The theme "Sports" will be shelved for Steven's future use and I will instead have the theme "Music", somewhat tying into my speech two weeks ago about The Beatles. I have updated the list below with what Steven gave me as confirmations to date for the roles. Please look this over, and email me on any updates. Reminder we don't have Table topics this week, instead we have candidates who have stepped forward to volunteer for positions in the club, and they have contacted other club members to give their campaign speeches for them on Thursday. The list below does not include the Campaign speeches. Son Paul, is taking care of this and I will dovetail this into my agenda I hand out. Evaluators please confirm or not ASAP. Reminder speakers should be contacting their evaluator to give them some insight about the speech they are giving using the emails listed below. Reminder also, per our meeting at the restaurant, the Toastmaster will once again be introducing the speakers, not the the evaluators. So speakers, please email me the intro I can use for your speech and for you on Thursday night. Clear as mud?
