Hello Toastmasters,
Thursday is a special meeting with a number of valuable highlights.
1. The meeting will be divided into two sections. The first will be a
one-hour meeting with the theme concise, including a special challenge and
award.*
2. Alan Wong will be giving his Visionary Communication level 5
project: Prepare to Speak Professionally. Come hear his speech, *A
Good Life*, because everyone wants one of those.
3. The second half will be legendary storyteller Dirk Kittredge who
won our last tall tales contest (and I suspect many others). He'll be
leading a workshop on some of his tricks to help you develop your
storytelling skills.
**The CONCISE CHALLENGE for all Front Range Toastmasters Roles this
Thursday.*
In order to have a full meeting with Table Topics and practice using
words wisely, there will be a special award for the person who makes the
greatest impact with the least amount of words. Each role will have a
*maximum* of one minute to introduce themselves and their role. This does not
include roles with pre-determined time limits: evaluator, speaker, or table
topics contestant. How substantial can you be?
*If you have not confirmed, please do so by Tuesday night.*
Table Topics Master: Lori High
General Evaluator: *Ray Pezolt*
Speaker 1: Alan Wong
Evaluator 1: *Bill Farrand*
Grammarian: *Jeff Stoll*
Timer/Joker: *Pattie Apple*
Inspiration: Isaac Ramirez

Thank you,
Kathleen
