Unfortunately, we have a full moon tonight to contend with, but in years past we have seen what looks like falling stars at a rate of about 1 per minute. It's really incredible. I know we have some very early risers (and probably some nightowls too), so it might be worth your while to go check it out. If the website I checked is accurate, the moon should set around 4:47am tomorrow morning (in CO), so around then might be perfect. Otherwise, one tip is to view the sky with the moon at your back. City lights also obscure some of the activity. This meteor show is like clockwork every year on the 11/12th of August, so if this year is not the best, try try again. Perseids Trivia: John Denver's lyrics to Rocky Mountain High, "I've seen it raining fire in the sky..." and "Shadow from a starlight..." were said to have been written about this meteor shower. Enjoy!
