Present: Mo, Tom

:: Workshop Cleanup

Mo finished testing the iMacs on the floor. We put the two good ones on a top shelf in the workshop, placed a partially disassembled iMac on the deman bench and moved the empty skid to the warehouse. We put some plastic in one of the two empty gaylords by the deman bench.

:: Wire Sorting

Mo and I finished sorting ribbon cable from regular wire. We now have 2-3 gaylords of regular wire, 1 gaylord of power cords and 1 gaylord of ribbon cable to recycle.

We should estimate how many power cords we need to stock before recycling. We have approximately 150 monitors right now. I think we'll need at least 300 power cords and probably half again as many (450) to be safe; we don't want to end up buying power cords because we ran out.

 150 monitors + 150 computers = 300 power cords
 300 power cords * 1.5 = 450 power cords

If we use totes instead of gaylords to store power cords in the warehouse, we can eliminate one more gaylord in the workshop.

:: Totes

Gertrude Recycling won't accept ribbon cable so we need to put our supply in totes to take to Winers in Elkhart if Winers will accept it.

We might have to put all the wire in totes anyway. Since we don't have a forklift, there is no way to lift a gaylord of wire onto a truck bed. The question is: What kind of totes do we need to buy? Something durable, obviously. The Rubbermaid totes we had at Chippewa are not durable.

:: ADEC

I'll contact ADEC in Elkhart about receiving or picking up the 3 skids of printers and scanners and 1 skid of plastic. Mo and I didn't look too carefully for plastic so I asssume we only have one skid of it.
