Just a note in passing. I have found that some computer and motherboard manufacturers only provide bios and firmware updates as floppy disk images. There are ways around this issue and not that to many non-technical people are updating their firmware or bios . I agree with Rick that floppies are seldom used anymore, their capacities are too small, they are unreliable and they cost more per meg than usb pen drives. I still think we should still retain and support floppies for a while yet as long as we have them.
