I have successfully compiled VL 4.3 drivers for the following:
Lucent/Agere LTModem
Driver should support Lucent Apollo (ISA) and Mars (PCI) DSP chipsets.
Lucent AMR modems and Agere soft Modems are not supported by this driver.
I have tested with the Mars chipset and a couple of Compaq and a Gateway
modems using this chipset.
I have been unable to find a free Rockwell/Conexant driver for Linux that
will work with the 2.6 kernels. Linuxant seems to be the only show in town.
($10 download, not redistributable)
We should also be able to compile some smartlink, intel, and pctel drivers
with the 2.6 kernel but, I haven't gotten that far.
