I have created a small database of my addresses and reader information using
Access, which is very easy to use. I can easily import additions and export
the entire list to wherever I want it.I continue to keep my list on Topica
now only for the subscriptions that come through from various directories
with which I am registered, and it will serve as a backup should anything go
wrong with my PC.

That sounds wise. We could all do with a few off list contacts in case
of problems that prevent using the list. As I'm reconstructing
PC-HELPERS at present, it really brings to my notice how easily records
get lost of go out of date.
