We made a new feature available today: syndication of all mailing lists via
RSS feeds. Visitors to the archives can track a list without having to be
subscribed and without having to watch the archives manually. RSS is popular
in the Blog space, but it's quite useful and is popping up just about
everywhere.

(If you'd like more info on the technical side, see this article:
http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2002/12/18/dive-into-xml.html)

Any RSS aggregator (a few are listed here: http://blogspace.com/rss/readers)
will do, and if you happen to be lucky enough to be using the Firefox web
browser, you can even track feeds via its "Live Bookmark" feature.

The last 20 posts in each list archive are made available in the feed. The
feed for this list, for example, is available at
//www.freelists.org/archives/freelists-news/feed.rss

On a more general note, we hope to implement more features like this in the
future. If you have any suggestions on new features or ways to improve
existing ones, do drop us a line.

Thanks,
  John
