[foxboro] omset

Dear all,
I have an issue with omset/omsetimp.
It is not always setting/reseting bits or writing values to a CP.
What I'm really asking is: Are omset/omsetimp 100% reliable?
Today we lost 10 hours production because of an omsetimp command that didn't
reach the CP.
