Hi,
On your I/A box in the directory /opt/ia you should have a file named
".profile" (yes that is a hidden file, "ls -la" will show it). This is
the base for your "go_dm" or "remote_dm" script.
I would suggest you rename the ".profile" to "go_dm" or "remote_dm" and
run that script from your exceed terminal. You should be on your way at
this moment.
On cassandra there is this really really cool Xterminal document ( I
wrote it so I know what I'm talking about, right? ;-) ) that will
provide you with some other gotchas related to setting up X-terminals
with exceed. Although the manual needs some maintenance and addresses
exceed upto version 7 if I remember correct the general rules still
apply.
