André, please let me review your explanations to be sure that I understood it right. It is possible to print from ICC at V8.6. -> It requires a locally connected printer to the AW. The connection has been made using the parallel port. Other local PC interfaces may work too. My scenario differs a little bit. I'm interested in using a network printer as described in HH1056. I got it working to print to a network printer from e.g. Wordpad. Yes it is possible to write a little script that acts as a filesystemwatcher and ... I do not want to fix the AW. The print function is NOT officially deprecated. -> I have to open a case. We use an old HP6122 deskjet, parallel port, but it works. It is tied to a P92 acting as a print server because we were not sure if the driver would work on TS2003. Do you have a 2nd ethernet network setup? If so get your IT department to setup a network printer on that network and setup your windows boxes to print to that by default. -- Jeremy _______________________________________________________________________ This mailing list is neither sponsored nor endorsed by Invensys Process Systems (formerly The Foxboro Company).
