In foxselect disabling/protecting compound-off is possible, so I assume you are talking about SELECT in DM. Don't know if this will help you, but if accidentally/unnoticed turning compounds off is the problem, there is a possibility to have a confirm-window pop-up when you click COMPOUND OFF (or ON). Change SSPROMPT=N into SSPROMPT=Y in the /usr/fox/wp/data/init.user file (you do have to reboot though) Regards Bram Marsman -----Original Message----- From: Deen, Ron [mailto:rdeen@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: dinsdag 9 april 2002 18:36 To: foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [foxboro] Turn Compound off I don't think the select screen in an operator tool. If you want to facilitate detail displays to the operator I think it is best to make your own set. Don't revert to editing the Foxboro supplied DD display either because they will be overwritten with each new release because of added functionality and you run the risk of feeling secure while you are not because the protections habe been removed after an upgrade.
