Try the vmstat(1) tool.

You can get the instructions by typing man vmstat.

        One of our workstations (AW51A) becomes relatevely slow.
        When changing the screen for example, It takes many seconds.
        The first investigation looks ok, no full directories were found..

        Do you know what can be the cause ? is there a need to increase the
memory ?
        what tests can I carry out to discover what is consuming a large
amount of
        CPU time ?
