We are using OsiSoft Pi to retrieve data from I/A and then saving it to
oracle db. This db is generating reports at demand, via mill intranet.

Marcos,

In the Lifetime Learning AIM*AT course (course #2004), we use I/A Series
Report Package to generate shift, daily, weekly and monthly reports. I think
the Report Package was programmed in Excel Macros and VB. It uses AIM*ODBC
to access the AIM*Historian data. It seems to work very well.

The Report Package can also schedule reports to run automatically (by using
a 3rd party Windows scheduler software called Opalis).

Please check the course descriptions at:

Dear All,
Have any one has experiences in making reports (daily, shift) using
user-defined programs(Visual Basic, etc) via ODBC? Thanks.
Kind Regards,
