Jim, Doug and Andreas,

Thanks for the feedback, I had hoped it would be this easy...

Hi Joe!
I believe you can modify the phase configuration by editing the file:
/opt/rbatch/appl/<app Name>/cfg/oper_cfg

# File: oper_cfg
# Date: Tue Oct 21 18:37:03 2014
#
# NOTE: This file was generated by ModelEd.
# Any changes made by hand may be lost!

OPERATION ACID_FEED CIP
        SEQ_BLOCK ACID_FEED
                REQ_ACID_FEED_FLOW_RATE RI0002 0 N/A MVL
0 20.0
                REQ_ACID_FEED_VOL RI0001 0.0 MS MVL 0.0
20.0

OPERATION AIR_BLOW CIP
        SEQ_BLOCK AIR_BLOW
                AIR_BLOW_DIMINISH_TIME RI0004 0.0 SEC MVL 0.0
300.0
                CHEM_LOOP_BLOW_TIME RI0002 0.0 SEC MVL 0.0
300.0
                CIRCUIT_BLOW_TIME RI0001 0.0 SEC MVL 0.0
300.0

The format seems pretty straightforward, and if you have a sandbox machine
you could certainly experiment...

Folks,
Yes, some of us are lucky enough to still work on the classics. :)
According to the User's Guide, I can Add, Delete and Change Phases but how
do I copy an existing phase, including the parameters, in the phase editor
to rename it and just modify the old parameters to fit the new recipe
requirements? Is there a back door file I can copy and rename just to get
it in the Phase/Pattern list? It would be easier than Adding it, then
having to create all of the same parameters as an existing phase.

This is outside of my comfort zone so I hope I have adequately described
what would make my life easier; copy and modify...

Thanks.
