It's not that this discussion (and great ASCII art) of how use ATSs to let
I/A version 8 stuff co-exist with older installed I/A components isn't
FASCINATING (as I roll my eyes). But, it seems that the general level of
confusion means that Foxboro needs to make a fairly comprehensive guide to
getting to version 8.0. Put it on their (and maybe our) web site and then
you could field questions that aren't covered by the guide. ( Thus freeing
you up to answer more important questions from me.) Foxboro could then
incorporate those answers into the guide and before long, configurations
that you guys never thought of would be mapped out for all to see.
