Terry,
I have found two ways that can cause this problem.
First, FV/FD 9.0 sometimes adds a parameter called tconstraint. Delete this
line from the ".g" file and you can then load it in FV/FD8.x.

Another thing that caused me problems was that on some graphics used a
slash "/" in the group name(e.g. R/L) For these, I renamed the groups to use
the underscore instead of the slash(e.g. R_L) in the ".g" file.

Regards,
Rick

Subject: [foxboro] FoxView Question

List,

We have built a number of displays on FoxDraw 9.0 on an AW at a site.
The other stations on the node are running FoxDraw 8.0 and they will not
load the FoxDraw V9 displays. I tried converting to .g and then
reconverting on the FoxDraw V8 computers, but I cannot get them to display.

Anybody have a work around for this issue? The displays are very simple
and could easily be built on Display Manager, that is there is no complex
items and no new features on FoxView 9.0 being used. Really just a bunch of
boxes with dynamic updates for statusa nd operator selections.

Thanks,

Terry
