In addition to the original question... I have to add a few discrete I/O
points to a existing PLB. This PLB does have 3 DO's wich are used to command
the 3 main valves of the plant. I did modify the ladder (adding just 4 rungs in
IACC Ladder Editor) but I do not know if this "add" operation does have any
impact on the current running FBM...I DO NOT want to see this FBM go down and
up or re-initialize or seeing the outputs going from one to zero and back to
one. I just cannot allow that.
So, the answer from Jorge does apply to this case or not? Just want to know if
this operation affects the FBM or not.
Regards,
Gonzalo

If you edit ladder logic "online" the current operation of the system is not
affected (only the especific rungs you changed) and there is no initialisation.
If you edit the block parameters it will initialize as normal blocks (when ever
you use the DONE button). Thats what the "teacher" told me.
