Adam,

On Solaris, FV9.0.2 is supposed to have fonts that are the same as the
DM Fonts.

Are you converting from:

Solaris DM to Solaris FV or
Solaris DM to Windows FV?

If you are Solaris to Solaris, something is amiss (I think). Please let
me know.

The fonts are totally different - FoxView does not have an equivalent to
the Display Manager Fonts.=20
=20

The main problem we have is the fonts in DM are generally much taller
than the FV fonts and hence we find we have to make them much smaller to
make them fit within the same width. Hence they become hard to see.

=20

There was talk of generating some DM fonts in FoxView and this would be
by far the simplest solution I would have thought. I can't be that hard
for the Foxboro guys.

=20

=20

Our solution (now that we have just completed our transfer on the main
part of the plant) will be to redo the most important screens (probably
about 10 unique screens) in line with the new height to width ratio of
the new fonts.

Ted,

Thanks for the feedback. It sounds like the font conversion might

still be an issue. Is it only when you resize the FV window from the=20

default size or was the basic conversion of fonts also flawed?
