Hi Joe,
Go in the historian tool in the right menu.
Then a= t the top there is a button there called BULK AIM CONFIGURATION (or
somethi= ng like that - sorry do not have the software in front of me)
That t= ool will allow you to create inp files to ADD DELETE and MODIFY AIM

Let me know if you find and and it worked as you needed

Hi Joe,
You can also use Foxr= ay / System Auditor to bulk modify your AIM
historian.
It has very usefu= l features such as updating descriptions, ranges, units

When people take the time to explain what the= y have learned, as you

Thanks again.

While the AIM Historian User's Guide mainl= y deals with creating ahistorian using histbatch and histcbatch, a= nd focuses on the GUI for
modifications, it does have this vague no= te (p. 81 in B0193YL-G): "To

It also has lists of co= mponent attributes (parameters of real time pointswhole

(without explan= ation). I also found a document on AIM*AT 3.0.2 "Problems
Fixed" wh= ich says CREATE commands are automatically interpreted as MOD if
th= e KEY exists.
I tested it out, and indeed you can take the .inp= file created bySave Configuration, edit any point(s), and use his= tcbatch to load the
thing back in, and it will not change any= thing but the points youmodified.
It takes more time to run, so no= t the most efficient way, but it works.(I
was afraid running it th= is way might initialize the whole historian, buthe
fortunately, it do= es not.) No need to remove anything from the file.
Further, the= format can be simpler than Ignacio's, although dependinghow you a= re setting it up it might be easier to use the "long format" as
