Juergen,
The idea is to mount on the AW51D a remote disk (the Windows/nfs =
server),
and configure the OHFA_Archive on that directory. In that way all =
copies
made by the OHFA would be made in the Windows server. Then the backup
software (running on windows) would make a backup of the local =
directories
configured.=20
The mounted directory would be made through the second port ethernet, =
so NFS
(mount) and not MICRO-Rfs (rmount) will be used (I think).

The disadvantages of the old OFHA package are:
It is using the nodebus as well as Micro-Rfs for the transport.
Using the nodebus means possible bandwidth problems on the server node =

or
LAN, the use of Micros-Rfs limits filenames to the SYSV specs.
The new version of OFHAII does not have any of these limitations, can =
=3D
use
any TCP/IP connection and has its own transport. -- But it is only =3D
running
on Unix - either Solaris or .. .
I have not had a real requests to integrate also Microsoft boxes.
