[foxboro] AW70 V8.3 Script performance issue

Hi List,
my AW70 V8.3 in a MESH with MKS_VER=3D87 and MKS Platform Components 9.x
shows a performance issue running scripts.
It takes between 2 to 6 s to run an omget request against a FCP270.
$ date;/opt/fox/bin/tools/omgetimp Q17B0C_STA:STATION.OMOVRN;date
Sat May 3 15:53:53 GST 2008
Q17B0C_STA:STATION.OMOVRN (l): 0
Sat May 3 15:53:57 GST 2008
$ date;/opt/fox/bin/tools/omgetimp Q17B0C_STA:STATION.OMOVRN;date
Sat May 3 15:54:04 GST 2008
Q17B0C_STA:STATION.OMOVRN (l): 0
Sat May 3 15:54:08 GST 2008
$
The same command on a Solaris Station on a Nodebus runs within less than
a second.
How is it possible to increase the performance?
